Cultivating the attitude of gratitude with Spikenard
Ask anyone who has been through tough times and come out the other side on top, the key to this has been gratitude. We hear countless times, to cultivate and attitude of gratitude. But how do we really do this? To be truly grateful requires stoping and taking stock of where you are in you life, and instead of obsessing about what is going wrong, what is taking too long, and what should be happening we have to search for what we can be thankful for. To some, this may come easily, and they can write down a whole list of things to be grateful for. But to the rest of us, it may take a complete change of attitude and time. This is where Spikenard essential oil can help you.
How to get started?
Grab a notebook and create a daily gratitude journal. It doesn’t have to be a fancy notebook- don’t let that be your procrastination. Write three things every day that you are grateful for, and whilst you are doing that, diffuse Spikenard essential oil, and listen to fast paced, uplifting music.
Change your mind and stop focusing on what didn’t work. Be grateful for the lessons learned and let it go.
I think the true definition of gratitude is also in understanding what people went though to get you the food on your plate, the clothes on your back and the oil in your diffuser. That’s why understanding where Spikenard comes from , and what the people of Nepal have to endure to harvest the plant, is important to me.
